What is my life purpose? Who am I? What is my task?

Shamanic healing ceremonies closely involve visions leading the individual back to the inner self through an astral journey. You receive transparence of mind & emotions as well as clarity concerning family, relationships and labour.

WHEN:       February 12th, 2011

PLACE:       Bodhana Wellness Centre, Apt. del Mar, Puerto Portals

TIME:         10:00 – 24:00

Info:            Number of participants is limited, contact us for booking / further questions: yvonne.kather@gmx.de

Shamanic Healing Ceremony and Vision Quest Comes to Mallorca

Saturday 12 February 2011 sees the arrival of two special guests from London, Chononita and Soi Yaka, who will bring their unique Healing Ceremony to the tranquil surroundings of Bodhana in Puerto Portals.  With decades of experience in bringing happiness and contentment to all they touch, this one-off session is a must-attend for those seeking true purpose in life.

Starting at 10am and stretching deep into the evening, the gathering will focus on the elimination of negative energies, the release and purification of blockages in the body and help those present to reconnect with nature and with the universe.  Chononita and Soi Yaka will seek answers to fundamental questions such as “what is my purpose in life?”, “who am I?” and “what is my vocation?”

Shamanic Healing is an ancient practice encompassing the belief that Shamans are messengers between the human world and the spirit worlds.  This gives them the ability to treat weaknesses by mending the soul and restoring the physical body to balance and wholeness.  Ceremonies involve visions which lead the individual back to their inner self by way of an astral journey.  From the experience you will receive a transparence of mind and emotions including a new clarity concerning family, relationships and work.  Artificial trappings and burdens are unleashed and, in short, people know who they are and what they are to do.

About Chononita and Soi Yaka:

Based in central London, Chononita and Soi Yaka run a successful hypnotherapy practice as well as teach yoga and dedicate time to several independent charities.  The duo have more than ten years experience in holistic and therapeutic approaches to health and are dedicated to helping others to create and manifest all the happiness and contentment they deserve.  Their methods guide people towards their goals as well as overcome any stressful, challenging or emotional problems.

For further information or to make a reservation for 12 February please contact: yvonne.kather@gmx.de

The Shamanic Healing Ceremony & Vision Quest

1. SHAKTIPAT

Shaktipat is quite an amazing experience. It is a bit like Reiki but much much more powerful. It is basically the transmission of cosmic shakti energy through your crown chakra in order to awaken you dormant kundalini energy. In the process of the descent of the energy through the spine it burns and clears out your karma.

“Shaktipat burns and cleanses. It is like a software change, each time. Each time the Shaktipat happens, a different set of blockages are removed. We must understand one important matter here. We have been existing on this planet since many lifetimes. We have been carrying bags of emotions accumulated from all those life times. Some stayed and some got trashed through our thoughts, words and actions. These karmas have been preventing our liberation. Each Shaktipat burns the excess. Each meditation pushes the person a little bit further.”  - Mohanji

“Shaktipat … is the awakening of the Divine force that is resting in potential within us. This is known as the descent of Grace. It usually occurs through a living Enlightened spiritual teacher, but may occur spontaneously. Once the Shakti Kundalini is activated, it begins to spontaneously move through our body, spiritualizing every cell, every aspect of the DNA, every chakra, every nadi (the channels of the subtle nervous system), every organ, and every tissue, so that consciousness becomes activated into the next evolutionary stage.”

- Dr. Gabriel Cousens in Spiritual Nutrition: Six Foundations for Spiritual Life and the Awakening of Kundalini http://www.amazon.com/Spiritual-Nutrition-Foundations-Awakening-Kundalini/dp/1556434995

2. SHAMANIC HEALING CEREMONY

The Shaman leads the individual person and the group through intense processes during the Healing Ceremony.

During the Healing Ceremony each individual is sitting / laying down in meditation and this process takes about 3 hours.

All questions will be answered before starting the ceremony and afterwards there will be an exchange of experiences.

Support for cancer sufferers in Mallorca

Posted by Family Matters Mallorca on January 12, 2011

If you, a relative or friend have cancer and need support, information or help in some way do not despair it is available to you.

aecc…Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer is the Spanish Cancer Association and it is  a non-profit organization and registered charity.

There is an office in Palma, Mallorca.

This organisation works in hospitals, from their offices and  in people’s homes  so that patients and their families receive the opportunity to overcome a difficult situation in the best environment possible. The Association provides advisory services and counseling, financial aid, nursing management, home care, provision of mechanical devices, etc.. All with the aim of improving the patients and relatives quality of life . They also do a lot of work on cancer prevention.

I went along to see them in November last year to find out as much as I could about the organisation and to see if we could somehow link our cancer support group to the association and work with them within the English-speaking community here on the Island.

As is usually the case it was not straightforward. There is no one in the office who speaks fluent English, which is fair enough as we are in Mallorca, and  to work with them on a voluntary (or otherwise) basis it is necessary to take a course and be processed. I explained that I would very much like to act as a link to the foreign community, if possible, and I am prepared to complete the courses and paperwork necessary. The woman I spoke with was extremely helpful and liked the idea very much although she did say that it would take some time to set up and would be a little complicated. As the courses are only in Spanish she seemed to think that I would not have a problem even with my “basic” Spanish, but it depends on when the next course will be.

I have in the meantime registered with the Association, helped with some fundraising over the Christmas period and tried to help raise the awareness in our foreign community. There are also other English-speaking people in our community who are doing this.

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with cancer and you or they need support but struggle with the Spanish language and need someone to help link you with the Association please feel free to contact me for some help…contact details below.

They have a wide range of resources and are very helpful.

You can find lots information on the website www.aecc.es which google very helpfully translates for you into readable English.

For those of you who would like to support the Association or help with fundraising you can join and support them online, make a donation or organise a fundraiser.

If I can help with any further information please feel free to contact me……..details below.

Free Seminar on Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive surgery will be held at the Santa Ponsa Country Club, Friday 21st January, 2011 at 18.30 hrs.

Posted by Family Matters Mallorca on January 9, 2011

Cosmetic surgery is not necessarily about big changes, you may feel that you need just a little help with a “nip and tuck” to refresh your appearance.

This very special occasion will be staged by Dr. Boris Todoroff , chairman of the department of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive  surgery at the St Vincent Hospital in Vienna and his associate surgeon Dr Heiko Hörstmann a prominent specialist in general and gastro intestinal surgery here in Mallorca. The presentation will be in English. The team at www.mallorcasolutions.com have been asked to organise the event.

Plastic surgery can enhance the appearance of the body both as an anti-aging technique and as a way to address body issues for people who are unhappy with the way they look.  The most popular solutions are brow lifts, face lifts, ear reshaping, drooping eyelids and eye bag removals or you may wish to remove a simple skin blemish.

There are many cosmetic surgery procedures all designed to help enhance different parts of the body i.e. breast enlargement or reduction and tummy tucks. Dr Todoroff and Dr Hórstmann will give the presentation and will be available afterwards to answer all your questions.  Should you wish to arrange a further private consultation at their surgery, this will be available FREE OF CHARGE.

If you would like to attend this very special event please contact Jackie Evans on mobile 609 421073, email jackie@mallorcasolutions.com, or info@mallorcasolutions.com or simply telephone their office mallorcasolutions.com 971 131644 so that we can pop you on our guest list.

They have already had a really good response so please join them for what will be a very enjoyable and interesting afternoon followed by a glass of bubbly or wine. They look forward to seeing you.
